Where are you from? Have your surroundings shaped you in a creative sense, and in what way?

I’m from Wilson a section in this suburban town Windsor. Right outside the north end in Hartford, Connecticut. No, my surroundings didn’t really shape me. I was always into more creative things since a kid. I really fell in love with music as a kid I used to have an old cd player I got from my dad. My first cd was God’s Son by Nas. I really fell in love with rap in 4th or 5th grade when Lil Wayne dropped The Carter III and No Ceilings, Ye was hot with graduation and Soulja Boy was really popping.

What’s your background like?

I’d like to say I had good upbringing things weren’t always the best, my mom got laid off a lot so I had to go do thing to get money for myself really. I hated asking my parents for money, still do. I wasn’t a bad kid or nothing I had good grades and graduated high school on time. I just found it fun to bug out. I came up in a town where the wealthy kids were afraid to come to my side of town.

What made you start making music?

The homies really. My mans Trevor had FL 9 or 8 in the 10th grade because his brother used to rap too. At the time I used to write lyrics and wanted to try to rap. Plus my cousin Thaddeus was mad nice with it so I was just inspired. But it took me a while to really start dropping music. I dropped my first song in 2015, it was so trash. But thank God I got better. All my friends rapped or produced too because we discovered the music booth in our high school. We wanted to start our own label so we did. MIA Records stands for Moneys In Art. We just got it recently LLC in summer 2018. I recently got kicked out of the group because I wasn’t dropping music. But then I got back into making and dropping music with my friends. But we got into this because we love music nothing else to be real with you. We been doing this since 2015 heavy wanted to start own thing just for the love of it.

Who are your biggest influences?
