Where are you from? Have your surroundings shaped you in a creative sense, and in what way?
I’m from Long Island, New York and I learned everything I know in the town of Central Islip. In my hood, there’s lots of drug dealing, gang banging, murder, and prostitution. So I had to try and find a way to distance my self but not forget where I’m from at the same time.
What’s your background like?
I come from a big family growing up with 2 older siblings and one younger. I’m a Gemini so I was into a lot of different stuff. I did shit from riding bikes, skateboards, spray painting graffiti on stores, to wanting to be a human beatbox.
Who are your top 5 favorite artists?
MF DOOM, Sean Price, Young Thug, Method Man, and Travis Scott
What made you start making music?
I really never wanted to but a few guys I knew had a rap group and they begged me to take it seriously in 2013. I’ve always had a strong love for music though. I even use to write down old LOX verses and spit them at the lunch table as if they were mine. I use to ride BMX bikes and thought I’d go pro. Right before my first Nike 6.0 try out I got hurt bad and almost lost my left leg in 2010. While I was on bed rest on and off for a year I really started to write music secretly.
Who are your biggest influences?
They range from my father to Max B, 50cent, Jay Z and even though we not on best terms Ima say my brother @piffington_blake of @roughcivillian
What’s your favorite song at the moment?
Urge Overkill – Girl, you’ll be a woman soon
What keeps you going? How you doing mentally?
It’s the people that I don’t spend every day with, the people who I don’t talk to daily that are down 100% of the time. And the people who I never met that just show me so much love. When I do shows and the crowds faces light up it sets my mind at ease in a sense.
How would you describe your style?
My style is pure calculated rage
What do you hope to accomplish in 2019?
Drop more music, drop dope visuals, and drink more water
