How old are you and where are you from?
I’m 18 years old from Atlanta, GA.
Have your surroundings shaped you in a creative sense and in what way?
Most definitely. Since I was a young teen , I’ve been around alot of drug use, alot of death, and alot of anxiety and depression, so I just started looking at both the bright side and shitty part of those things and put it all into my music.
Whats your favorite cartoon show growing up?
My favorite cartoon was definitely Spongebob , until I turned 9 and discovered anime. Shows like Naruto, Blue Exorcist, Erased, and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure are what influenced me the most.
When did you get into making music?
I got into music in 2014. I was only 12. My friend and I were into EDM and dubstep, because we were those typical gamer kids back then. So, it started out with EDM beats and shitty rap beats. Then I discovered Slug Christ, and the rest of Awful Records one day on YouTube then by late 2015 I said “fuck this” and started putting my vocals over my beats.
How have things changed since you first started?
I used to be a really happy 14 year old racking up decent plays on songs. To growing up and growing apart from friends who didn’t believe in me or growing apart from the bullshit. Also got rid of my lackluster work ethic. Alot of that is displayed in my most recent tape “Ghosttown Rituals.” I take music very seriously now, sitting in-front of my computer making 2-6 songs or beats a day.
What’s your favorite song at the moment?
It’s between “Hard Times” by Paramore and “I bought her” by Young Thug & Lil Duke.
What keeps you going? How you doing mentally?
What keeps me going is faith. I used to doubt myself since the beginning, but I’m understanding that I can’t do that. I’d say I’m doing better mentally as of lately. Just trying to stay positive no matter what.
How would you describe your style?
A bit of punk, a bit of trap , alot of reality. One word I can 100% describe it with for sure is versatile. Every project is so much different from the others. From my flows to lyrical content, to even the vocal mixing.
What does your family think about you doing music?
My family doesn’t really care, except for my mom. She’s really my everything even though we fake-hate each other.
Outside of music, what keeps you busy?
What keeps me busy is video games, YouTube and movies for sure. Weed, too.
What are 3 things you can’t live without?
Video games, music, and friends.
Where do you see yourself this time next year?
I honestly don’t know. I would love to start having shows and continue to grow my cult fanbase.
What is the most important thing you want listeners to take from your music?
I want my listeners to understand that no matter what. You’re never alone. It feels like it, but you aren’t.
